2010 Southern Ontario Beach Hunt
I am sending this message to all our REMDA members...some of you may receive this message twice as you were 2009 participants, but I wanted to make sure that all our members have this communication as well. Thank you, Sherry Cziraki.

Hello Fellow Detectorist!
The 2010 Southern Ontario Beach Hunt Committee would like to reach out to all the participants from our 2009 Hunt to let you know that we are now in the planning stages for our upcoming event on May 29th and May 30th 2010.
The Sponsored Club's this year are the Rainbow's End Metal Detecting Association, Thames Valley Metal Detecting Association, North Shore Metal Detecting Association, Sun Parlor Treasure Seekers of Windsor, Chatham-Kent Metal Detecting Club, Simcoe County Metal Detecting Club, Woodstock Relic Hunters and the Canadian Heritage Seekers of Niagara.
We are hoping for another successful year and hope that you will be able to join us again this year. The new 2010 registration form and information about the hunt has been uploaded to our hunt website at www.metaldetectinghunt.com
The Best Find's from June 2009 to May 2010 will be in four categories Jewellery, Coin, Relic and Miscellaneous. If any individuals are interested in participating, please bring a 4" x 6" photo of your find(s). Entries are limited to three per person and we will post it on the board and allow everyone to vote on it. The more Find's on the board the better!
All donations are welcomed…bring a donation to the hunt it would be much appreciated. Marge Cleaves (North Shore Metal Detecting Association) and Brenda Found (Rainbow's End Metal Detecting Association) are coordinating all the donation prizes.
Also, we are not raising our entry fees this year for the Canadians ($110.00 for 2 days and $70.00 for 1 day); however we have adjusted the American fees to reflect our Canadian dollar being at par as opposed to last year's exchange rates.
For our American friends, you will need your passports this year to cross the border.
I am looking forward to seeing you again this year…if you know of someone who metal detects and is unaware of this event or has never participated in an organized hunt, please pass this message along. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Happy Hunting!
